The Team

In her job as CFO, Jennifer Scher oversees all aspects of Spirit’s finances, including preparing and managing budgets, analyzing financial performance and overseeing information systems. She has become a critical contributor to the company’s growth, bringing a wealth of experience in analyzing and structuring new songwriter deals, catalog acquisitions and joint ventures and contributing to overall strategic planning. Prior to joining Spirit, Jennifer was Senior Director, Corporate Finance for EMI Music Publishing, where she played an integral role on the company’s senior financial team overseeing domestic and international budgets, internal and external audits, post-investment reviews and the reorganization of overseas offices. Before that, she was EMI’s Director Finance, North America, responsible for managing the finance staff, helming acquisition due diligence and designing software to integrate royalty and accounts payable systems. Before her work in music publishing, Jennifer was a Senior Analyst in the Audit and Business Advisory Practice department of Arthur Andersen.
