As a key member of Spirit’s creative team for the last four years, Tim Pattison has contributed equally in music technology and A&R. He’s utilized his considerable expertise on the tech side to upgrade and modernize virtually every aspect of Spirit’s song cataloging and pitching, digitizing the entire catalog, introducing flash drives and custom websites as plugging tools and overseeing the design and launch of a new creative database – an invaluable tool enabling the global creative staff to find the right song for any brief. He also coordinated the design of Spirit’s website and helped establish the company’s presence on such social networks as Myspace, Facebook and Twitter. On the creative side, Tim has spearheaded relationships with senior creative executives at top video game, applications and other music-driven new media producers, establishing Spirit as a key go-to in this fast growing area. He’s also been responsible for signing cutting edge songwriters and writer/artists, as well as attracting industry execs and record labels for prospective joint ventures. Prior to coming to Spirit, Tim worked at both New York University and Columbia University in the field of music and general audio technology.
