Charlie Musselwhite

Heralded as “one of the greatest living harp players” by blues-icon Big Joe Williams, Charlie Musselwhite has been a major player in both the Memphis country blues and Chicago urban blues scene, playing alongside fellow blues icons Furry Lewis, Muddy Waters, Big Walter Horton and Howlin’ Wolf. His prolific work on over 20 albums of his own, along with contributions to a diverse group of contemporaries, including Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker, Tom Waits and INXS, has won him 6 Grammy nominations and 14 W.C. Handy awards through the years.
