East Coast rocker burst onto the scene in the early 1980's with his Arista Records debut, a project which spawned the self-penned rock hit “Listen To The Heartbeat” as well as “Get With It” and “21st Century Man.” He soon established himself as a hit songwriter, delivering one of Pat Benatar’s biggest hits, the Top 15 “Shadows Of The Night.” Spirit recently placed “Shadows Of The Night” in the Disney telemovie Picture This (as covered by Ashley Tisdale), the Showtime original movie Recipe For A Perfect Christmas and landed it in a Broadway-bound rock musical titled Rock Of Ages.
