Mooney Suzuki
Songwriters Represented:
Sammy James Jr.
Darlings of the downtown New York music scene, The Mooney Suzuki enjoyed massive buzz for two independently released records in the late 1990s. Signing up with Spirit in 2002, upon the release of their acclaimed Electric Sweat album, Mooney enjoyed a string of high profile media placements including the theme to Paramount’s School Of Rock, feature songs in television’s One Tree Hill and Smallville and the Madden 2005 videogame and commercial campaigns for Nike, Poland Spring and Suzuki Motors. Spirit creatives are now pitching The Mooney Suzuki’s latest CD, Have Mercy, for a wide range of sync uses.
