The London-based duo of Nick Feldman and Jack Hues emerged in the early 80’s, making their first UK and American chart appearance with the hit “Dance Hall Days”. Top 40 success with the follow-up hit “Don’t Let Go” saw the group move stateside and focus on building a following in the U.S. In 1985, Wang Chung managed to make as big a splash in feature film as they had on the pop charts, penning the evocative title track and score for the William Friedkin thriller To Live And Die In L.A. The group would solidify their position as one of Britain’s most successful exports in 1986, releasing their Mosaic album which featured chart-toppers “Let’s Go” and the soon to be ubiquitous “Everybody Have Fun Tonight”. More hits followed at the close of the 80’s, as “Praying To A New God” from Wang Chung’s The Warmer Side Of Cool made the Billboard charts. Nick and Jack recently released a brand new Wang Chung CD, featuring the expected crunchy guitars, killer hooks along with a touch of jazz and electronica, and have been touring actively to support it.
