Nearly a year before its release, Spirit creatives convinced Relativity Media execs that the work of '70s glam-rocker Marc Bolan perfectly matched the tone of drama indie DALLAS BUYERS CLUB, placing three T.Rex songs in the film.

"Life Is Strange," "Main Man," and "Ballrooms Of Mars" all feature prominently in the Matthew McConaughey/Jared Leto-starrer, which left the Toronto Film Festival with both buzz and Oscar chatter.

The film tells the story of a free-spirited Texan in the mid-'80s who, unexpectedly diagnosed with HIV and unable to find approved medicines in America, crosses the border and devotes himself to making Mexican alternative treatments available to all.

The film's soundtrack album, which will donate a portion of all royalties to The Global Fund's HIV/AIDS prevention fund, features two of the T. Rex songs along with The Naked And Famous' "Following Morning."
