The Who’s 1967 hit soundtracks the main title sequence in Cameron Crowe’s latest film, ALOHA.
Written, produced, and directed by Crowe, the romantic comedy-drama stars Bradley Cooper as a celebrated military contractor who, upon returning to the site of his greatest career triumphs, re-connects with an old flame (Rachel McAdams) while also unexpectedly falling for the Air Force pilot (Emma Stone) assigned to watch him.
“I Can See For Miles” was released in the fall of 1967 and remains The Who’s biggest hit single in the U.S. to date, reaching #9 on the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100.
