The Rosewood Thieves are the brainchild of the singer/songwriter Erick Jordan. Formed in New York City and signed to V2 Records (White Stripes, Grandaddy) within a year, the band’s 2006 debut From The Decker House was produced by Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Fruit Bats). The 6-song EP featured Andy Cabic of Vetiver, Mike Daly of Whiskeytown, and the legendary Bob Dorough of Schoolhouse Rock fame, and its single “Los Angeles” was heard on Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy, and more. After V2’s demise, the band became fiercely independent and released their critically acclaimed full length LP Rise and Shine in 2008 as well as a series of EPs via their own label (including 2009’s celebrated Heartaches By The Pound: The Rosewood Thieves Sing Solomon Burke, in which Burke himself wrote the liner notes). Dormant for over a decade, Jordan’s The Rosewood Thieves resurfaced with the new single “Crystal Clear” on Christmas Eve 2020. NEED TOOK FROM SPOTIFY
