Abe Stoklasa grew up in Princeton, MO playing and singing in local bands from the age of 6. His family moved the Tennessee when he was 14, by the time he graduated high school, he knew he wanted to pursue music as his career. After completing his undergrad work at Belmont University, and after a short stint in grad school studying jazz at the Frost School of Music at UMiami, he headed on the road with David Nail, and then Billy Currington, as a pedal steel and sax player. Feeling a need to be creating rather than playing, he decided to leave the road and write songs full time in 2013 at the age of 26. In 2014, he landed his first cuts with Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, and Lady Antebellum and has been a songwriting force artists consistently seek out ever since.
