Jonathan Singleton Reigns On Top Of Country Charts, Signs With Spirit Music Nashville

Nashville, TN (June 18, 2020) – Multi-platinum songwriter Jonathan Singleton has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Spirit Music Nashville. As part of the deal, Spirit has also acquired a portion of Singleton’s song catalog. The announcement comes as Singleton dominates the top of the country charts with the #1 single with “I Hope You’re Happy Now” – Carly Pearce and Lee Brice; the #5 single “In Between” – Scotty McCreery (which was also co-written and produced by Spirit Music Nashville CEO Frank Rogers); and the #16 single “Die From A Broken Heart” – Maddie and Tae.  

 

Singleton has written the #1 hits “Beer Never Broke My Heart” by Luke Combs, “A Guy Walks Into A Bar” by Tyler Farr; “Yours If You Want It” by Rascal Flatts, “Why Don’t We Just Dance” by Josh Turner; “Let It Rain” by David Nail and the GRAMMY-nominated hit “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools” by Tim McGraw. He has also written such hits as “Watching Airplanes” by Gary Allan, “Red Light” by David Nail and “Don’t” by Billy Currington.  Other cuts include songs by Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Chris Young, Little Big Town, Ronnie Dunn and many more.
