The debut episode of FOX’s buzzing series RED BAND SOCIETY features The Who classic “My Generation” in a scene introducing two key characters.
The drama, produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Octavia Spencer and Dave Annable, tells the story of a group of teenagers living together as they battle serious diseases in a hospital’s pediatric ward. The song’s placement is particularly resonant for Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, whose Teen Cancer Trust charity has been raising funds to improve acute-care adolescent and young adult wings in hospitals around the world for more than two decades.
