NASHVILLE, TN (October 11, 2016) – Spirit/Fluid, the Nashville-based joint venture between Spirit Music Group and Frank Rogers’ Fluid Music Revolution, has signed Phillip White to an exclusive publishing deal as announced today by Frank Rogers.

Phillip White has spent the last 20 plus years writing songs for some of the biggest artists in the business. George Strait, Luke Bryan, Chris Ledoux, Vince Gill, Bonnie Tyler, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker, Wynonna, Reba, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Tanya Tucker, Jake Owen, and Neal McCoy are some of the artists that have recorded Phillip’s work.
An Alabama native, White moved to Nashville in 1992 and notched his first breakthrough hit in 2000, when White co-wrote “I’m Movin’ On” with D. Vincent Williams, which appeared on Rascal Flatt’s debut album. The song became a No. 1 hit and was named Song of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music Song of the Year and the Nashville Songwriters Association International. In 2003, White co-wrote the Reba McEntire hit “I’m A Survivor” which also became the theme song for Reba’s self-titled hit TV show.
White’s impressive list of co-writes include such hits as Neil McCoy’s “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On”; Blake Shelton’s “Nobody But Me”; Scotty McCreery’s “The Trouble With Girls”; Darius Rucker’s “Lost In You” (co-written with Rucker and Mark Nesler); and, as featured on the Act of Valor soundtrack, “The Best I Can” co-written and performed by Jake Owen and “Whatever Brings You Back” co-written by Ronnie Bowman and performed by Wynonna Judd.
Frank Rogers is a multi-platinum producer and songwriter who has won Billboard’s Hot Country Producer of the Year award five times. He’s also co-written a slew of country hits, including four Hot Country Songs No. 1’s (“I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)” by Brad Paisley, “Alright” and “This” by Darius Rucker and “Backroad Song” by Granger Smith).
