The Sunflower Entertainment Group is a leading global licensing, label services and publishing company specializing in all genres of independent Latin music. Founded in 2002, Sunflower’s seeds are sown in one of America’s most musically influential family trees: the legendary Chess Records (Jamar Chess, COO, Sunflower) which paved the way for blues, R&B, and rock and roll itself. Sunflower represents such popular artists from the legendary Discos Fuentes catalog as Joe Arroyo, Sonora Carreuseles, La Sonora Dinamita, and Fruko y Sus Tesos, as well as Bachata stars Zacarias Ferreira and Kiko Rodriguez, Merengue artists Oro Solido and premier Dominican artists Vakero, El Alfa, and Mozart La Para. Sunflower established it’s self in the Latin market as the prominent licensor and consultants of vintage South American catalogs and popular Latin music, Sunflower currently serves as Netflix’s Latin music licensor for series like Narcos, El Chapo, Club de Cuervos and more. In 2016, Sunflower partnered with Spirit Music Group to form Spirit Music Latino to further it’s growth and success.
