Eric Knutson

Eric Knutson is a talented guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter based in Nashville. Born and raised in the Alaskan wilderness, he earned his degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music. After graduation, Eric moved to Nashville with hopes of succeeding in the rock music scene, but his original band eventually dissolved. Just before leaving Music City, Eric met his wife, who encouraged him to stay and continue pursuing his dream.

While working part-time as a parking valet, Eric met Matt Singleton, and they quickly bonded over their shared love of music. This meeting led to the formation of the band Triple Run, with Eric bringing his talents on vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and mandolin. He had also previously performed with Brittany Taylor, but it was his collaboration with Matt that gave birth to the distinct sound of Triple Run.

Eric’s musical journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and the power of music to bring people together. With his diverse skill set and unique background, he continues to contribute to the thriving Nashville music scene.
