Joy Williams in her early career as a solo recording artist released three albums on Reunion Records/Sony. In 2008 she signed a co-publishing deal with Warner/Chappell and began her own publishing/record/artist development company, Sensibility Music. Later that year Joy formed the duo, The Civil Wars with John Paul White. The Civil Wars officially parted ways in August 2014, but as a solo artist Joy released a few projects through Sensibility Music. Joy has synch placements including Oscar Mayer, Grey’s Anatomy, Toyota, and The Hunger Games. Her song “Stand By You” was a hit single by Rachel Platten on Billboard’s Top 40. In 2019 Joy released her GRAMMY® nominated solo album, Front Porch.
