Nashville, TN (September 15, 2025) – Spirit Music, one of the world’s leading independent music companies, today announced the addition of multi-PLATINUM hitmaker and four-time ACM award-winning country superstar HARDY. Through the deal, HARDY also signs to a powerful exclusive co-publishing agreement with Spirit Music Nashville.
A five-time ACM award winner and one-time CMA Award winner, HARDY has also won three CMA Triple Play Awards, was named the 2022 BMI Country Songwriter of the Year, and earned the prestigious ACM Songwriter of the Year honor in 2022. As an artist, HARDY is behind the platinum-certified A ROCK and SOLD OUT BEER featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson; the platinum Wait in the Truck featuring Lainey Wilson; his debut 2019 album Hixtape: Vol. 1 and 2021’s Hixtape: Vol. 2; as well as his 2023 No. 1 album The Mockingbird & The Crow which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and topped seven additional Billboard charts.
In addition, HARDY has co-written nine No. 1 singles for artists such as Florida Georgia Line (“Simple”), Blake Shelton (“God’s Country”), Morgan Wallen (“Up Down,” “More Than My Hometown”), Cole Swindell (“Single Saturday Night”), Chris Lane (“I Don’t Know About You”), Jameson Rodgers (“Some Girls”), Dierks Bentley (“Beers On Me”), and his own chart-topping tracks. HARDY has also collaborated with world-renowned artists including Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Lainey Wilson, Dallas Smith, Breland, Brantley Gilbert, and more.
Spirit Music Nashville’s Chief Executive Officer Frank Rogers, Chief Creative Officer, Spirit Music Group and General Manager of Spirit Music Nashville, said: “Spirit could not be more excited to welcome HARDY to our family. We are excited to continue to work with a writer at his very highest.”
“After years of making music together, I couldn’t be more proud to start this new chapter alongside my friends at Spirit,” said HARDY. “The Spirit team has always been believers in me and my songwriting and I can’t thank them enough for their support. Spirit is the best in the business when it comes to championing songs and songwriters, and I’m so excited to continue building with them.”
In 2024, HARDY released his No. 1 LP (Quit!!, 2024 North American—excluding his first stadium shows, as well as the CMA Fest main stage), collaborated with Post Malone for Pour Me a Drink, which appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and blew past two billion career streams.
His new album COUNTRY IS FOR is set for release on September 26th via Big Loud. The new album continues a monumental run for HARDY, who made his first-ever appearance at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year with Metallica’s James Hetfield in the audience and smashed through the first leg of his JIM BOB World Tour. The forthcoming album and its singles have garnered enthusiastic early acclaim from Billboard, Forbes, Holler, Entertainment Tonight and more. “Favorite Song” (with Lainey Wilson) already hit Top 10 on country radio and performed on Good Morning America. “Quit!!” is also climbing Top 5 on country radio, and “Big Country” (the album cut offering created with ERNEST) debuted Top 5 on iTunes and is continuing to climb.
HARDY’s JIM BOB World Tour is set to traverse 15 new cities with headline dates, culminating at Houston’s NRG Stadium and Madison Square Garden in New York.
Of COUNTRY IS FOR, HARDY has co-written with Thomas Rhett, Morgan Wallen, Ernest, Jordan Schmidt, Ashley Gorley, Zach Crowell, and more.
HARDY was represented in the deal by Scott Safford (Safford Motley PLC). Spirit was represented by Matthew Beletic and David Crow (Billon/Crow/Kelley/Beckett/Shehan PLLC).
