Spirit Music Group’s Frank Rogers Name Among Billboard Country Power Players of 2024: The Nashville division of the publisher best known for clients such as Salt-N-Pepa and The Who’s Pete Townshend underwent an “exciting year of growth and change,” according to Rogers, whose continued production work includes Scotty McCreery’s next set. Client Justin Halpin’s band, Unions, landed “Rescue Me” on HBO’s True Detective: Night Country; Lady A and Walker Hayes co-writer Shane Stevens signed a global publishing deal; and prolific hit-maker Brinley Addington (known for songs with Maren Morris, Darius Rucker and others) reupped his deal. ­Additionally, the longtime songwriter-producer says, “We moved into a new building, expanded our creative staff and watched our writers flourish both creatively and ­commercially.”

Frank Rogers is a multi-platinum producer/songwriter and is CEO of Spirit Music Nashville, Chief Creative Officer of Spirit Music Group and President/Owner of Fluid Music Revolution.

Rogers has produced 44 #1 singles, 80+ Top 20 singles and 60+ RIAA certified diamond/multi- platinum/platinum/gold records or singles for artists that include Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, Frank Ray, and Scotty McCreery. He has 18 CMA nominations (with one win) and 27 ACM nominations (with five wins). He was named Billboard magazine’s No. 1 Hot Country Producer Award 5X and MusicRow Magazine Producer of the Year 4X. He has produced 17 GRAMMY® nominated songs/albums including 4 winners. He was named to Billboard’s Country Power Players list in 2020 and 2022.

Rogers has co-written a slew of #1 songs including: “I’m Gonna Miss Her” (Brad Paisley); “Alright” and “This” (Darius Rucker); “Five More Minutes”, “This Is It”, “In Between”, “You Time” (Scotty McCreery); and “Backroad Song” (Granger Smith). His songs have been recorded by many artists including Chris Stapleton, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Kenny Rogers, Clint Black, Hootie And The Blowfish, Lee Brice, Kidd Rock, Billy Gibbons and Matthew West.

As an executive, Frank is the former VP of EMI Nashville Productions where he signed artists including Brad Paisley and Darryl Worley. In 1999, Rogers opened up Sea Gayle Music with Paisley and Chris DuBois. The successful publishing company has 45 Billboard Number One songs, including the 2003 Grammy Best Country Song, “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” and 2009 CMA Song Of The Year, “In Color”. In 2010 and 2011, Sea Gayle Music was named ASCAP Country Publisher of the Year. In 2009, the three partners formed Sea Gayle Records, whose roster has included the likes of Sheryl Crow and Jerrod Niemann. In 2016, Frank opened Fluid Music Revolution, in 2019 he was named the CEO of Spirit Music Nashville and in 2022 was named CCO of Spirit Music Group.

Rogers and his wife Jessica endowed a scholarship at Belmont University’s Mike Curb Collage of Entertainment and Business and they also co-founded Notes For Education which supports arts education in Nashville, TN and Napa, CA.
