D/R Period, a Brooklyn native, is a legendary songwriter, producer, and multi-talented artist whose career has spanned decades and seen him collaborate with some of the biggest names in pop, hip-hop, and rap. With total album sales exceeding fifteen million worldwide, D/R has made a significant impact in the music industry, particularly within the realms of hip-hop and rap. His impressive list of credits includes writing and producing for heavyweights like DMX, Onyx, Foxy Brown, Queen Latifah, and MOP, including the iconic anthem “Ante Up.” He also produced the Public Enemy soundtrack for Spike Lee’s *He Got Game* and contributed to numerous feature film soundtracks, such as *Empire*, *State Property*, and *Bringing Down the House*.
