Dave Cohen is an award-winning keyboard player, songwriter, and producer originally from Calgary, Canada, who relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2007 to pursue his musical career. Over the years, Dave has solidified his reputation as one of the most talented and versatile musicians in the industry, earning credits with top artists like Lady A, Joe Nichols, Dixie D’Amelio, Priscilla Block, Ben Burgess, Sasha Sloan, King Calaway, Jake Worthington, and many more.

Dave’s musical journey began with touring, performing with acts like Joe Nichols, Big & Rich, and Wynonna Judd. However, in 2012, he transitioned to becoming a sought-after session musician, playing on over 100 #1 songs. His production credits include chart-topping artists such as Morgan Wallen, Chris Lane, Dallas Smith, Jake Owen, HARDY, Elle King, and more. Dave’s work as a session player and producer has led to collaborations with renowned producers like Joey Moi, Dann Huff, Ross Copperman, Corey Crowder, and Shane McAnally.

In addition to his session work and production, Dave has now ventured into the world of songwriting, signing his first publishing deal with Spirit Music Group. His impressive accomplishments have earned him numerous accolades, including being named ACM Keyboardist of the Year in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022, as well as the Music Row Keyboardist of the Year from 2018 to 2023. Dave also received the ACM Album of the Year award in 2021.
