Mick Schultz launched his career in 2008 when, as a teenager, he co-wrote and produced Jeremih’s self-titled debut album. The project delivered two major hits, the platinum-certified “Birthday Sex” and “Imma Star”, establishing Schultz as a rising force in music production.

His momentum continued with Jeremih’s 2010 follow-up album, All About You, which featured the multi-platinum hit “Down On Me” with 50 Cent and “I Like” featuring Ludacris. These successes cemented Schultz’s reputation as one of the industry’s top go-to producers and songwriters.

Schultz later played a pivotal role in Jeremih’s third album, Late Nights, co-writing and co-producing its platinum lead single, “Don’t Tell ‘Em” featuring YG. The song peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped both the Billboard Rhythmic and R&B/Hip-Hop charts for multiple weeks, and reached No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart.

Beyond his work with Jeremih, Schultz has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, showcasing his versatility. He co-wrote and produced “Replay”, the platinum debut single by Zendaya, helping launch her music career. He also worked extensively with SoMo, co-writing and producing his self-titled debut album, which featured the gold-certified hit “Ride.”

Continuing to expand his creative reach, Schultz teamed up with multi-platinum songwriter and longtime collaborator Keith James for James’ debut EP, From The Grey. Released in June 2015, the project blends pop, hip-hop, and R&B, further highlighting Schultz’s genre-spanning production skills.

With a track record of chart-topping hits and platinum success, Mick Schultz remains a sought-after producer and songwriter, consistently shaping the sound of modern music.
