Sam Carter is an artist and songwriter from Dallas, Georgia, whose passion for music started early in life. While his love for the craft was evident from a young age, it wasn’t until college that he picked up the guitar and began writing his own songs. This marked the beginning of his journey to pursue music full-time. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, including *The Eagles*, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, and Van Halen, Sam’s sound blends elements of country, rock, and southern roots.
In 2020, Sam took a significant step in his career by signing a publishing deal with Spirit Music Nashville. This move led to his relocation to Nashville, where he could fully dedicate himself to songwriting and growing his artist career. Prior to his move, Sam had already established a following by playing shows throughout the southeastern U.S., building a loyal fanbase eager for his music.
Sam has collaborated with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters and artists, including Andrew Jannakos, Jeremy Bussey, Forrest Finn, Mitch Oglesby, Tommy Cecil, and Jody Stevens. His songwriting talent has led to several of his songs being recorded by notable artists such as Jon Langston, CJ Solar, and Andrew Jannakos. Sam’s music continues to resonate with listeners, as he works to carve out his place in the Nashville songwriting community and beyond.
