Pure Prairie League

Southern pop ensemble, Pure Prarie League, best known for their top-flight musicianship, hit the pop charts seven times in the early 1980s. The group’s biggest hits, including Top 10 smash “Let Me Love You Tonight” and high charting follow-ups “Still Right Here In My Heart” and “I’m Almost Ready,” featured the lead vocal talent of a young Vince Gill. Other early Gill/Pure Prairie League classics include “Janny Lou,” “Misery Train,” and “You’re My True Love.” “Let Me Love You Tonight” was recently featured in the DreamWorks film ‘Anchorman’ and Warner Brothers Television’s ‘Lost.’
